lavalys everest

hi.

sitting alittle with everest and at the moment it shows the temp of some devices in systray but their is 2 for the cpu, one of them is the cpu diod and the other one only says cpu.

they show roughly 10-11celsius apart and wonder which is correct ?

cpu shows roughly the same as corecenter.

37-42 celsius for a winchester 3200+ stock speed with a zalman 7000b alcu at around 1800rpm.

the other one cpu diod shows 50 celsius right now.

the only thing i can think off is that cpu is measured at the surface of the cpu and cpu diode measured the core temp.

according to amd it differs around 10celsius betwen core and surface temp.

any input on this matter ?

Regards

its not motherboard/case temp.

wondering if their can be a temp sensor right under the cpu, my other msi motherboard has it but its an old one with a 2400+ on it.

the temps suggest it can.

but will disable some processes later to se how it changes when the cpu goes from max load to idle.
