Last straw with windows..

I am starting to think there is a conspiracy theory where windows is updating a bug to slow the system down so we all rush out and buy vista. A couple of my mates are having the same sort of problems as you are, and have asked me to look, in all honesty I have told them I will do a quick check and then take the easy option if need be.

It could also point to a virus that is mega clever but I think that would have been found by now.

could just imagin that in the windows update description for the update. "Update to slow down windows xp in order for us to theive money of you for windows vista"

lol! the strange thing was that as soon as this happened my brain automatically thought...hmmm may as well get vista now.

maybe they are using subliminal messages in the error messages too!

Buy vista and it'll prob be slower as it uses more resources.

Everyone I've spoke to who has vista has seen a drop in FPS in all games and benchmarks are slower. Guess that's the price you pay for the extra pretty things?

So far so good, still not sure if i should invest in some programs like registry mechanic and zonealarm. Atm i'm running windows firewall and ccleaner is cleaning junk.
