Laptop O/C

So I decided to start benching my laptop... how far is too far to O/C the GPU? Right now during load it hits 90+C.
It's a 640LE and im not really sure what this thing can do...
Any ideas how to force the fan on my laptop to max? It's a Lenovo Y480 (core i5 3210)

Have you tried speedfan? That's the only one that's popping into my head ATM, but there are others. 90+C is too hot IMO.

Have you already replaced the thermal paste? I cleaned the gunk that Apple left on my MBP and replaced it with NT-H1. 20*C cooler

90*C really does seem hot for an Ivy laptop. The laptops that my friends have never seen to go above 70*C using IBT's maximum preset.

I haven't tried speed fan.. i completely forgot about that.
I was thinking about reapplying the thermal paste but im not sure if I want to void the warranty. Maybe I should call lenovo and see what they say?

Well, it's a fairly simple thing to do, but I understand your reservation.

Don't think they'd notice if done properly tbh. Overclocking technically voids your warranty all the same
