Hello its me again by now i'm sure people are getting sick of my questions, ESPECIALLY A LAPTOP ONE! But thank you for any help!

So here the deal i have a friend who wants a laptop for things such as "web development" "film editing" "playing Sims 3" all for £400 that's all the information i have but with laptops i am in the same zone as monitors I HAVE NO IDEA :L

To start with i can only think of ebuyer to look for some, and my guess is there are other better cheaper places to be looking, i had hoped to find an i5 system with 8gb of ram in that price range just like you could with a desk top, so far i am disappointed in there range of choice!

I genuinely appreciate any help you can give me and i hope this thread gives an insight to any one else buying a budget laptop (DON'T!)

Many thanks
Luke

The processor is weak in this but the apu bit should run the sims ok. Its a case of get an apu for more gaming power or get an intel (with integrated) for more video editing 'power':
HP Pavilion 15.6" at PC World £349.99

-edit-
This would be better as more 'powerful' CPU, it looks nice and it has a bigger hard drive:
Lenovo G505 £349.99

PC world seem to be OK with laptop prices

Thank you so much, that is FANTASTIC!! that's the best laptop i've ever seen in this price range i should just sell my computer and get that ;) (joke) but yeh i will order that for her soon!

Just to make you aware the battery is non-removable.
My girlfriend has it and she loves it. Extremely good form factor for the price.
