im going throw updating all my drivers on my laptop and i need to do my LAN drivers but because its a laptop i dont know what motherboard i have so how do i get the new drivers

i do that everyday

if its a major brand model that isnt older than 5 years, google *brand and model* drivers, go to ussualy first link(manufacturers site) and often with companies like dell or hp they will either ask for special code located on the bottom of the lappy or to detect it automatically, since the auto wont work since you cant access internet, enter the number from the bottom of the lappy and it will find all the exact drivers that can be installed, including the exact lan driver :]

i have an ASUS pr067s

Well, a quick look on the Asus site shows the only laptop they have under 'Pro67' is the 'F' model, and that only comes with VGA drivers.

But, the support site does allow for you to enter your Serial Number.

hwinfo32 or hwinfo64

download install it will tell you what all your components are

32 or 64 depending if you have a 32 or 64 bit OS (In case it wasn't self explanatory)
