Lapping?

Ive been looking through the posts and haven't really seen any topics on the subject.

I do know this is the liquid cooling section, but my question pertains to gains with lapping when running a watercooled setup.

I have seen some pretty good results with it. The whole void warranty scares the crap out of me every time lol.

Any other views on it?

I have done it with a old Q6600 for my brothers build and he seen a good drop in temps. Also don't let the warranty thing scare ya, if you do it right you should have no problems. Ah should of been clearer I have lapped 2 cpu's already I was just seeing what everyone's opinion on it was.

I've lapped a few quad cores. If done properly it def helps with temps
