KK8N Neo4 SLI 12V 4 pin plug problem w/OCZ520? It's hitting elec component

Any anyone experienced a problem plugging in the 12V 4pin power supply coming from an OCZ520 into the K8N Neo4?

The OCZ520 has dual 4pins meant to be able to be ganged together. I'm working with just one of the two, but when I try to plug it in, I find there's no clearance between it and an electrical cylinder component just to the right. As I start to push it, I can see the cylinder start to move from a little lip coming out of the 4 pin.

I'm hesitant to push it in for fear of breaking the cyclinder. I'm almost tempted to file down the lip a little, although I don't know if that would screw up the ability to use it in 8 pin ganged mode.

Regards, Ron

No plans to use the 2 together as an 8 pin 12V (designed for Intel maybe?)

I shined a really bright light down into it and there's just enough clearance soas to not push the electrical component aside, so I bit the bullet and pushed it down & it locks in place. Look okay.

I think the problem is that when OCZ allowed for 2 of these 4pins to be ganged together to make an 8pin (maybe for Intel), they created a lip on each of these which is not typical, and perhaps didn't realize the K8N has this tower electircal component is exceptionally close to the 4 pin power recepticle.

Anyway, it's in. I'll be trying to POST in a few days and will keep fingers crossed.
