Kill the Alpha Ceph?

Hello. After just plain shooting at the Alpha Ceph in Crysis 3 I appear to be getting nowhere :/

I watched some YouTube videos on how to kill it but I can't really tell what I'm supposed to do? Some people say aim for the eyes, others say aim for the arms/guns. How did YOU kill him?

Any help is much appreciated!

If I remember correctly you have to take out it's arms first? Not 100% sure though.

shoot at the 3 arm things and red bits when they appear (i think)

Hmmmm
I have tried shooting at the arms (with fallen Ceph guns) for AGES, but nothing is happening. In the videos it appears to take no time at all? Some comments say that it could be some kind of glitch preventing you from killing him/her/it?

Yes I just read that too. Though I also read it's not limited to pirated versions.

Either way I downloaded a patch/crack and I'm gonna give it another try.
