Just wanted some advice if I should keep my Ivy Bridge i7 3770K @4.5Ghz and upgrade my Rig to the Skylake..
Ive had this overclock for about 2 years I would say and its been going strong!
Rig ATM -
CPU : INTEL i7 3770K @4.5GHz 1.23V
MOBO : MSI z77 Mpower Big Bang
GPU : Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP Extreme Edition
RAM : RipJaws- 16GB Ram 1600Mhz
SOUND CARD : Sound Blaster Zx
COOLER : Corsair H100i
PW : Corsair HX850W
OS : Windows 10 64bit
Upgrade's will be -
CPU : Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz
MOBO : Asus Maximus VIII Hero Intel Z170
GPU : Zotac GeForce GTX 980Ti AMP Extreme Edition
RAM : Corsair Dominator 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit
SOUND CARD : Sound Blaster Zx
COOLER : Corsair H100i
PW : Corsair HX850W
OS : Windows 10 64bit
How much of a performance would I benefit from this upgrade (Gaming) ? That's the main thing tbh..
