Keen Newbie Saying Hello

Hi Guys

Been a long term pc fanboy, first computer was a zx81 (yes I am that old). Graduated onto the Acorn Electron and then a leap upto the Amiga 500 before getting my first PC (in the days of DOS).

Anyway, I have built one system before - nothing great Asus p67 motherboard, i5 2500k and asus 560 ti's in sli all in a Cooler Master Storm case.

Whilst it is still able to play the newish games, time has come for me to build a new system and this time I want to make it my own and put my stamp on it.

I will be using a NZXT H440 and the Asus Hero VIII as by base and will take it from there. Look forward to sharing my progress with you all.

Any comments both negative and positive welcome and any tips would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum dude. Good start to a build with the H440 and the Maximus VIII Hero. Keep us posted on what you do, im sure if you need any advice on anything there is someone (Many usually) that can give you 1st hand knowledge to help you get to where you want to be.

Didn't have a ZX81 (too costly) and then spent a lot of time round my mates house playing manic miner on his spectrum so you are not alone in the age group. I then had an amiga 500 of my own in the late 80's which I modded to bits and then sold a couple of years later for not a bad price. did not get my first "PC" until mid 90's
