I can not for the life of me find some benchmarks for the card. I want to know how it performs on air and water. Both stock and overclocked. I realize this card is meant for LN2, but in all honesty, how much of the market that will be getting this card really be using it for that. If anybody can help me out it would be much appreciated.

I would prepare yourself for multiple posts of rage for asking that question here :huh: oh and one post from Vlad with some pointless irrelevant comment about the Kingpin although I think even he gets it now.

Why not just look at GTX780Ti Classified Reviews, it will be give or take exactly the same.

Its basically the same as the normal Classy, albeit in a (objectively) uglier cooler and with memory that runs better under LN2 as opposed to more traditional methods.
 
I am sorry if I am stirring a dirty pot. I did not realize this was a sore subject. Can you link me to where the rant is about the card. I would like to read it!

Oh its hard to find, its spread over a few different threads (that had sweet FA to do with it). Mainly its one guy trying to justify buying the card and several notable others disagreeing with him. Mainly because of him just using it like a normal 'card. I expect he'll show up any moment now and the discussion will happen again. Sit tight ;)

It is about on a par with the normal Classified for Air or Water but can actually run worse as the VRAM is optimised for LN2 not normal conditions.

i doubt he will even put it under water. if he'd put it under ln2 i'd be quite confident that he could, well, implying that he knows how to overclock properly.
 
I think there is a review on Tomshardware which will show poor results for air/water.

As the information above states. If air/water cooling is all you want then get the Classified.
 
If I had more money than sense, I still wouldn't get it. It would be wasted on air/water. It'll be like having an i7 extreme system and using it as an HTPC, pointless.

My card arrive yesterday, I usually first week don't OC hardware until I confirm stability in different games and 3D Tests. Card is excellent.
Boost on exactly 1202MHz out of box on stock voltage... Nice number for me.

I'm very satisfied with this card and I recommend who like to try...
Don't listen what other say, if someone have money and chance to buy go for it, why not.
Buy 2 fans less this year and few cables less and price difference is annulled.
Most elegant graphic cards are Classified ACX looking whole GTX780Ti models.
I mean all of them GTX770/GTX780/GTX780Ti/GTX780Ti KP...

Nice, My reference 780 Ti boosts to 1201 out of the box and it cost a lot less than a kingpin and looks a lot better :cool:

You wont be able to overclock the kingpin much and the memory is really crappy for overclocking as it's meant for LN2 as Kingpin himself stated.

You need to start doing benchmarks once you have played around so we can see how much money you wasted by reference cards beating your scores :p

It's a perk of working for the company in the international roaming department. Made sure it was in the contract when I signed up with them :)

What kind of hardcore overclocker messes about with games.:D If you wanted to do that you could of bought a couple of 280Xs and enjoyed the extra performance and still had enough change to go for a third in trifire.:D

I run benching threads for half of these and my friends Gregster and Humbug runs threads for the other half. Vlada011 lets see if you can get to the top in any of these benches.:)
 
Doesn't Vlada have two of these kingpins as well? Could have sworn I saw him get another in the last item purchased thread.
