Just a check-up for my mITX system

Since I ditched the "as white as possible" idea for my Bitfenix Prodigy, I'd like to know what you guys think about this instead:

Case: Bitfenix Prodigy Silver (white)
CPU: i5 3570K
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D14 (white+red)
RAM:G.Skill Ripjaws X PC12800 CL9 (red)
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI iZ77 (mITX) (black)
PSU: Corsair HX650W (modular) (black)
SSD: Corsair 180GB Force GT (red+black)
GPU: Club3D HD 7950 Royal King 3GB (red+black)

Any ideas about the colour combination too?
(Not sure which colour for the braided PSU cables to choose...)

Since nobody replied, here's a little update.

I decided to go for a few different parts:
- Corsair H60
- Red braided cables
- Corsair Vengeance PC12800 Red
- Corsair AX760 Muodular (had to because of the max. size in the Prodigy case)

Looks good but only a good 500W PSU is needed for one GPU.

I'm still doing my research at this stage. (About to order them today or tomorrow.)
I noticed the coloured braided cables for the AX760 aren't even being sold via the Corsair site. (Other cables aren't compatible according to the Corsair compatibility list.)

And, YES, I know 760W is way too much for this setup, but I wanted a black/red/white colour scheme.
This is still the first step in building the system though. I'm planning on getting the coloured braided cables once they've been released and I'm planning on watercooling the whole system properly in the future.

IMO, you should have saved money on the power supply and bought a better board.

The Gigabyte doesn't give you much for overclocking. You can't even adjust voltages.
And you probably should have opted for the H100i instead.

Still, I'm sure you'll be happy enough with it

I already explained why I went for that PSU...
And I challenge you to find a better mITX board with a black PCB then.
And tbh, I don't see the point of a H100i in combination with a board with little room for overclocking.

@Gang: I usually start building a setup once all the parts arrive. Should be within a week or so.

Black PCB on an ITX is a little picky, considering there's only like 5 Z77 boards to choose from anyway...

I'd have bought the P8Z77-i deluxe...

Well, the P8Z77-I Deluxe is a board I looked at first. But since I decided to go for a black/red/white colour combination, the blue connectors on the ASUS board wouldn't look right. That's why I got the Gigabyte one.

Since I only trust Corsair with PSU's, the AX760 was the best option.

Little update: during the assembly I noticed that, eventhough the Corsair AX760 is 160mm, it's way too big for the Bitfenix Prodigy. (Because of the modular connections.)

Anyone that has an idea about a decent 140mm long PSU (modular if possible) that will fit for sure?

A White/Red/Black theme? That red spoils all the white and black to be honest, unless the Case has red on it as well. I am sure you picked all these part to match your theme, but I sense something different... someone who cares more about how a rig looks more than how many advantages buying some parts would have even if it sacrifices looks.

Absolutely nothing wrong, was speaking from my personal taste point of view. I'd be very specific on which color to be predominant and which would have less impact on the overall aspect. And it is pretty clear that you have chosen high end hardware and I am glad you did. Was just surprised that you cared more about what they look like and less about what they can do. But I guess the whole point is for everything to fit the theme not look like the local candy store, and you've made the right choices. ^_^

Little update: I saw a video which used a PSU which had the same length and it was modular as well. It was a struggle, but I managed to squeeze the AX760 in there. It's installing Windows 7 now.
