Ivybridge 3770k De-lid

Take it down from 1.45v or you'll very quickly degrade your chip.

My 3770k's degraded slightly actually.
Ran it at 4.7ghz (1.375v) for about 4 weeks I think, then brought it back down to what I used to be at at 4.5ghz. Used to get stable at 1.205v, and now need 1.215v

Considering that's after only a few weeks (and barely even under load during that time), I'd be incredibly careful going anywhere above 1.35v, even if temperatures are fine.

So far i've been running for 2 months like this, And so far my cpu is doing fine. Your cpu might of just been settling in, The only time I seen someone degrade there chip was running 1.5v+.

I'm going to be playing around with a 4770K soon, And I will most likely be deliding it too.

Not settling in at all, I've had it a year...
Been running at 4.5ghz (1.205v) for the first 10 months or so.
Then put it up to 4.7ghz (1.375v) for 4 weeks...
Then tried going back to 4.5ghz (1.205v) and couldn't get it stable.

Be very careful anyway.
