IVY-E Ram?

hey guys,

I'm looking at building a system with a 4820k. But i'm unsure what ram i should be getting.

as ivy bridge is 3rd gen but ivy bridge-E is running on 2nd gen X79 mobo's.

So yea what avenue should i be looking at? Ram compatable with 2nd gen? or 3rd? or something different all together?

Just go with your normal Corsair ram like the Vengeance Pro or the like as The Ivy-E's have better memory control to Sandy-E and get the fastest you can afford Eg. 16/32gig @ 2133 or better
