reason why it would not start 'apparently the mounting screw was not mounted preperly so it short circuited the board making it not start

After the above? I would leave well alone. If you can't even mount a mobo properly then I would just, well, leave it the hell alone.

Sorry if that sounds rude, but water cooling if you can't mount up a mobo properly is Pandora's box.

gotta agree with alien on this one, or u can give it back to the ppl who done ur pc properly to get watercooling in it if they can

nah just didnt put the screw right through minor thing plus I already built the rig which worked fine just with the mem issues, meh im gonna wait a little while for watercooling the d14 is going good atm

yeah well this is the thing i idle at 32 degrees at 4ghz and its summer in australia...plus the raven is made for air. I really like the fact of water cooling becuase it looks cool but there is alot of risks involved with it. I dont no tbh wether to bother

It's also maintainance. Where as the Noctua is completely set it and forget it (tm).

I wouldn't bother mate honestly. If you are set on it get a cheap kit, old case, crap board and chip and play guinea pigs with that.

yeah thats exactly what ill do with my first foray into a wc set up get a block i can get older brackets for so i wont need to buy a new one and try a low end 775 chip half decent mobo clock the nuts off it or amd equiv

lol i figured it out im uploading em now:) one of the guys there broke the latch to my right side door (without the window) so now I cant close it....
