Hey guys. Im reinstalling win7 on my pc but i cant find my disc i have an iso of it and i want to boot from it. So i

mounted to iso to clonedrive

Copy files from the mounted image to pen drive

What now is that it ready to go if so ill be as happy as larry

Did you get an error message? I've used it a few times to create different USB sticks. Worked fine for me as long as you have a drive >4GB.

i have a 16gb sandisk cruser. the software said the iso is wrong? its not a bootleg copy or anything it was my mate did it with a proper disk so im confused why it wont do it. but if i copy the files from the mounted image should it still work as a bootable usb. oir is there something i have to set in the pen that makes it bootable

I manualed it and used clone drive to copy the files to it. Just waiting for tech support at activant to call back about putting the software back on it. Maybe you guys can help. I i install new os and cpu mobo etc the hdd will need wiped. If i copy everything to another computer on the network once i reinstall the is should i be able to drop the contents of the old os programs etc to the new os programs etc

The programs themselves would need to be reinstalled, but their contents should be able to be backed up and restored. Depends on what type of programs though.

I install windows over USB all the time, chuffin fast and I love it, done in 20 mins flat. I use wintoflash, search it on google.
