That's the reference version. Only get the EVGA one if you're watercooling.

ah right okay. so how do i know if its reference design or not? is there certain things to look for?

Reference cards look like:

They are all made by nvidia, so the branding between them is irrelevant.

Get one with 2+ fans.
Either:
KFA2, Gigabyte Windforce or ASUS DCII.

Stick to those 3 brands and you'll be fine
