Aluminium is ftw... But yeah if your super careful with your case by all means get a switch 810 but plastic will never look as good or last as long as Alu but then it is cheaper
Aluminum is nice. But what do you think an aluminum case with these features would run? 299? 399? Again, to satisfy the growing watercooling market at a decent price, plastic was used. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have an all-aluminum switch 810. You also have to remember that this case is a completely new direction for the company. If they were to push out an all aluminum chassis, then not be able to sell them all, it won't do any good and the company would lose money.
Perhaps it's a trial run? I dunno. We'll see.
I was thrilled about this case even before I worked for NZXT (and I bought mine from Newegg, btw, so I have no bias here). As far as quality construction, the only complaint I have are the HDD sleds. Other than that, this is probably the best case out there for the features/price ratio.
I'm just saying, i am more than happy to pay a premium for aluminium construction.
The switch does all it says it does and more.
Disinformation does not help anyone.
Yeah it may do all it says, albeit poorly. There's simply too much hassle with installing a water cooled system in this case. Unless you only want a 240 in the top.
Oh and I wasn't complaining about the use of plastic. I was complaining about how cheap they made said plastic look. In my opinion that case is an eyesore.
I most certainly haven't. Take it back sir!
Once again I pointed to the looks of the case. Not the use of plastic.
And I don't care that this case accomodates more water cooling solutions. As I see it the CM cases do a better job of it. You may be able to fit less rads, but at least you can actually use them.

The rad in the top has trouble with the front bays. The rad in the front requires modding.
You could always buy the Shinobi XL and have a cheap flimsy featureless case for slightly less though.![]()
"why cant we all get along???" lol and "We'll have to agree to disagree" But hey Calibretto look at it this way we helped ya get a few more post notchesWhat personal preferences were ya not able to do with the switch?? (insert comedic releif)->Remember when answering we do have young uns here lmao !!![]()
