Is the Silverstone Raven 1 good?

I was looking at the spec sheets of both the case and the 7990. Irritaitingly the case supposts GPUs up to 12inches long and guess how big the 7990 is? 12.1 inches. Do you think I could still fit it in the case if I changed the bottom fan to a thinner one I could fit the GPU in or should I go for another case?

Thin fans don't usually perform very well and going for lower specs just because a case you like the looks of doesn't support the higher end stuff is a bit dumb imo

Different case in that case (no pun intended). That card is just too good for the price to not use it. For the same money you could also get a better case, even if you don't love the looks of it as much. But that's just my opinion :lol:

shhh I'm not that irrational . Yeah I think I'll look at a different case completely, AMD recommend either an archaic (but solid performing) antec case or the HAF X due to the cards questionable method of heat dispersion. The link between the cases recommended is they need very strong front fans. I think I will get the Cosmos SE, its £10 cheaper, supports the 7990 and is a smaller case.


-edit- I got an email from silverstone this morning, looks like I can use the case after all I guess it shows it doesn't hurt to ask:
