is my setup bottlenecking

Not really unless you want the fan speeds uber slow.

You can leave your clock at stock but make sure to manually set the volts to get better temps.

i havent run any temps test since last uk summer ill boot it up and put it on benchmark heaven 4.0 see what fps i get as well as temp via the msi bios

I would go for the H75 or H55 instead. The H75 would give you a little headroom if you took a notion to dabble with changing your clocks. But either will do a good job on a stock CPU.

No. And you really should not bother even thinking about a water cooler. IDK why everyone recommends them ALL THE DAMN TIME. Stock cooler is good enough for any CPU at stock, which is why they supply it! Closed loop AIO is really overkill and a waste of money unless you are going for a h100i/h105, because it performs incredibly well, however most single fan AIO is terrible for its price.

Unless you are going for a seriously beasty overclock (1.25V+ with haswell) or REALLY care about the 0.5 dB quieter it might be, then go ahead and get a h100i/h105, otherwise a 212 is usually more than enough, and stock is good enough for stock!

the reason why people always recommend them is because they perform alot better than stock coolers while being much quieter. they also give good headroom if the person decides to overclock in the future.
you dont have any issues with ram clearance and you can fit them in quite alot of cases such as matx etc whereas a tower air cooler you couldnt.

and finally they look a hell of alot nicer and free up the air flow in the case
