Is my PSU going to cope now?

Still building up the kit for my project.

I have a Zalman HP 850 PSU

Here is a quick run through of what is going into the PC:

Q9550

SLI'd GTX 280's

8 GB ram

Single watercooling loop

usual optical and HDD plus about 6 cold cathodes

I had planned on using 8800GTX's but i ended up getting this PSU prior to upping the GFX.

If that`s a solid 850W psu, I`d stick with it. Don`t know Zalman psus tbh.

the calculator gives me 750W, but i am planing on an OC of both my GFX's.

since the rule of thumb is max W your rig can draw should be 100w lower than PSU i think i may be pushing it.

what are people thoughts?

Zalman PSU's cost a bomb. Which should indicate quality.

850w is plenty, and if the supply is good you will be fine.

Im not familiar with Enhance but they seem to be ok.

I am very tempted to get a Enermax Galaxy 1000w so i can pop in another gtx 280 at a later date,

Hence the Zalman 850W been for sale
