No way, the Q8300 is more than capable even by todays standards, I doubt a Q8300 would even bottleneck a 580

Impossible, for gpu to bottleneck a cpu you'd need at least a dual 7970 or possibly a single 680.

Well I have a q8200 so it's good to see the response. According to an article I seen somewhere the q8300 is as good as a G8xx series sandy bridge CPU which are not far behind the 2600k's of this world.

Here's one of our own guys playing Crysis 2 on a Pentium D with a 560ti.

This would be an extreme example for me.
