Is my graphics card dying?

hey guys,

I was playing BF3 today, about 20mins ago of writing this and this started happening:

And the thing is that i've been playing BF3 on the current drivers for over 4 months and had no issues.

Doesn't happen this bad in other games apart from little stuttering but in BF3 its happening a lot today

The card is a EVGA GTX460 1GB SC.
I have never over clocked it and i've had a little over 1 year, was used when i got it.

update drivers, not betas.

also might wanna re-install dx

doesnt look like dead to me, more like a software issue, if possible try diffrent card in your pc, and yours on other pc.

cool, i'm currently downloading the latest drivers, the 306.97 and hopefully it fixes the issues

Ya i agree with Pr3d4t0r if the card is used and you have had it for over a year with no issues then it's very unlikely its dying. Most GPU's will die in the first 3 month it there faulty.

I've installed new drivers and its seems fine now, will monitor over the next few days if the problem returns

Thanks guys, i'm glad too. I was worried since i didn't have a replacement gpu if it was faulty. Now i can continue to game
