Is my Asus Strix 980 Ti faulty? Led issue.

Hello again dear forum. I have an question.

My card is Asus Strix 980 Ti. I observed that when my card is on load , that led is blinking much faster than without load. Live with that or this shouldnt happen? I see in youtube clips and other strixs 980 ti blinking normal with the same speed on load like without load .

Temps are fine 75C on load. On load that led is blinking faster than without load. Its should blinking with the same speed with or without load.

Somebody said to me that :"It can be a signal of power problems."
So i dont know what to think about it.

My psu is Corsair 750 RM and card is stable and no crashes.

No dude. I honestly meant the only thing thats really wrong in all of this is the user.

Clearly somethng is wrong with the card if what the OP says is true. It may not be critical, buy it could be a sign of something else which may be going faulty.

Yes its true deffinitely its blinking faster on load than without load .

What happened to the last card. Was it used in exactly the same rig?

Have you tried looking at Geforce Experience to change how the LEDs act?

^I doubt they would grant you an RMA for such a problem, but you could try if it really bothers you.

My last card was exchanged ( because of crashing and no stable ) to current example. Yes previous card was used in exactly the same rig. But led was blinking at normal speeds.

Current card is stable , no crashes , no artifacts, but led is blinking faster on load.


So rma or not?

IF the card is running fine leave it. If you RMA the card and they test it and find nothing wrong with it they will just send it back to you.

You cant. The blink is a hardware level blink. The speed is NOT something you should be worried about.
