is it safe to use de-ionized?

i cant get distilled anywhere, is it safe for me to use de-ionized water in loop?

Not 100% sure but I think so, if it's de-ionized it's non conductive but it probably still has impurities so you would need biocide and a kill coil. Not 100% sure though.

They are both purified but by different methods, as long as they both prevent iron or calcium deposits I think you should be alright. Any reason why you are not using a pre-mix?

basically I bought mayhems dyes hoping to make my own colour and now i cant get distilled anywhere, so its between de-ionized and ro water? any ideas? thanks, Luke

Deionised water is fine, it's the same stuff to car water and what i use for my system

The local walmart has an entire isle of distilled water for 89cents a gallon O.O
