Is it possible to have 4 hardrives...

In windows is it possible to have 4 hardrives where I would make 2 groups of 2 stripped array and then have those 2 groups mirror each other.

So say I have 4 1tb hardrives. Is it possible to go into windows hardrive management and setup the drives so that it will show up as 2 2tb hardrives. And than after that have it setup so that those 2 2tb hardrives will mirror each other.

Basically using 4 hardrives can I have it show up on my computer as a single 2tb hardrive and have it being automatically backed up on another 2 hardrives?

No problemo. Neither RAID0 or RAID1 are particularly controller intensive, so I can't see why RAID10 would be. So, running the 4 dives off of your motherboard's RAID controller should work just fine.
I only mention this as you mentioned RAID5, which doesn't run well on an onboard controller due to the calculations needed.

Yeah I was just trying to figure out which raid was the one I was looking for so I started looking up all of them. I have no idea what half of them do.

Is it possible to do this using the windows manager? Like right now I have 2 1tb drives in a backup raid but I just set it up using windows manager because I have my os on an ssd. So when I first install windows there is nothing on my hardrives.

RAID is generally set up pre-boot, in the BIOS/UEFI or similar. At least, that's what I did to set up my drives.
What are the rest of your specs?

Edit: upon some further research, I see that you can indeed set up RAID from within the OS - my apologies, I was just going by my past experience. I see that both RAID0 and RAID1 are options given within 'Computer management', but RAID10 is not. Whether you could simply create two separate RAID1 arrays and then RAID0 them together? - I don't know.

Well I have setup raid pre-OS before so no problem knowing what to do there :D

Specs aren't final yet I am still working on it. When I get home I will post my current specs and my planned specs. In 4-8 weeks im building an entirely new rig and selling mine for pretty much the same price I bought it for :D

in some days it was also RAID 1+0 (hence the 1 and 0) a stripped array with a
mirror with no parity drive (hence the calculations).
