Is it damaged, or...?

So my 4.3Ghz overclock has been set @1.481 and actually winding up to be 1.49 ~ 1.50v most of the time at idle and around 1.52 with a peak of 1.53v while gaming. That was all stable and never went up to the 1.55v death blow. But after about two weeks of use i decided to test the waters to see if i could get more and increased the Vcore to 1.49, seeing if i could get any higher with s'more juice, and sure enough everything else followed suit with +0.1v and then the system became unstable so i went back down to 1.481v bios voltage.

The system has been playing up all day today. So i lowered the mix from 226Mhz x19 to 224Mhz x19 hoping that would lessen the LLC. Nope, crashed just now suring a game (great in 2d apps though!). Got through to the bios again, which then cut out and gave me a blank display, so had to power on a second time and try again. This time i tryed 200Mhz x21 and the system, as kind of expected, crashed at the startup screen. I now have everything running at defaults to write this post and for the time being.

My question is do you think i should go anywhere near 4.3Ghz again or stick nearer 4.0Ghz on a lower voltage? What about turbo core? I could use that to boost speed as high as possible during 2d apps then lower back down to something like 3.6Ghz ~ 3.8Ghz for benching and gaming

I'd suggest with staying on 4.0Ghz with lower voltage. What cooler u got and what temps? Afaik, if u got proper cooling that can keep it nice and cool then a bit higher voltage shouldnt be that big of a problem.

It sat on 1.5 although was a little higher under load, which was relatively few and far between. I have a d-14 so heat was never an issue and nb never went past 43*c! So it became unstable coz the voltage wore it out? (btw works fine at stock so seems to still be alive, but we'll find that out for certain as i turn it on and hope doesn't crash during boot). Also the cpu/nb & ht link were at 1.243v and 1.25v so no they weren't left at auto ftr

amd has 1.4v as limit, and the one i had was 1.45v max,but one day i just couldnt get it stable 4.0+ and 2000+ ht no matter how much volts added.Think the volts have worn it out.I could though get it stable 200x19.5 @ 1.39 and 2000 ht,1.2v both cpu/nb and ht.

Had it folding at that until i replaced it for x58 and i7-950

Yeah that's kinda where i was guessing to go next (when i have time to stress test) around 3.9 to 4.0 and leave it alone thereafter @<1.45v
