Is £200 to much to pay for a keyboard?

I have the Ducky Shine 3 TKL and it's a really sweet board. I like the idea of a metal casing, but gold looks a bit tacky IMO.

If you want to save money take a look at the TKL ones (if you don't mind not having a numpad).

I will take a look at that one but I would prefer to have a number pad if possible,

(Thanks)

Or you could just the non-limited edition one, it's still an amazing KB.

Also, no £200 isn't too much to spend :p

The sensible way to go would be the non-limited edition choice I must admit, also I’ve seen the zero as well which looks good but no leds, other than ducky what other manufacturers / modals would you or anyone else suggest as I really would like to get a good mechanical keyboard and if I’m honest I don’t know where to start

Yeah Filco as mentioned are great, Corsair and CM keyboards are OK for what they are, but they really aren't up to the standards of Ducky/Filco/Das keyboards, depends how much you're comfortable spending.

If you want LEDs and aren't bothered about RGB ones then Ducky are the kings. They give you so much customisation.

200 is a lot for a keyboard is it gold plated lol id go either for corsair or coolmaster they are very nice key boards with out the expence

Go the Corsair K70 in Aluminium it looks lush and performs well although mine are red's don't think you can get them with greens

i have a leopold keyboard.
with shipping and taxes it was close to $200 as well, but i love the simple look, they offer different key colors and you can pretty much not break them.

Ok so after doing a bit more light research and running the risk of being a victim of marketing I’ve narrow it down to these, the Ducky DK-9008 Shine 3, CM Storm Quick Fire XT and the Das Model S Professional (only downside no greens) as for the keyboards on the filco site apologies I’m just too lazy to figure out which ones would be any good, so if there is anyone in the know that could come up with a shortlist for this it would be much appreciated.

So out of the 3 which one would you guys chose? Or is there another viable contender

I'm not sure if you can get a Das keyboard in the UK? Anyway I'd go for the Ducky out of the three. If you're willing to spend a decent amount I'd keep away from the gaming brands. As for Filcos, I can vouch for the Majestouch 2 being pretty good boards.

Just bear in mind that Ducky use Cherry stabilisers and not costar stabilisers (more common) so the larger keys will take some getting used to on first use.

tt esport make good gaming mice and keyboards

Yes they do but no cherry mx greens

I think I will just go with the Ducky as I like this one and thanks for all your help as it is very much appreciated
