Is 12.4-12.5 to high for a 12v rail?

Its up there but not bad but still keep a watch out. Have you noticed if it spikes when your system is at full load?

my +12 on my enermax 460w hits 12.77 but normaly stays at 12.46. But mobo sensors are probly 10-20% off.

I highly doubt Enermax would allow such high voltages. The only way to truely find out is by using a DMM. :)

I'd deffo measure it with a DMM as Raven said.

12.5v is fine, but as you get close to 13v i'd start to get worried, as not all components can tollerate that kind of voltage increase and it may reduce the life of others.

nick we were suggesting nothing of the sort, im sure if he measured it he would find that the enermax wd not budge from 12.00v ;)

I guess it's judgement day then :) I used to run my system at about 12.6v on the 12v rail as I noticed a considerable cooling increase with that extra few RPM on both of my water pumps.

Thanks for the replies guys... It seems that I will be ok... I have just heard some rumors around about Ultra PSU's doin similar things. And I am referring to the sensor not a dmm

im not worryied iv had this enermax for 2 years nothing has went bad but couple motherboards some i killed and some from to much overclocking.
