IRC Channel/Server?

Never worked with the chat, we had people posting full on forum style posts in chat. So we binned it off as I got fed up with banning people who abused it.

Can say right here it wont be coming back.

U could keep a word limit or summin and keep the chat only for smaller questions that can be resolved in one or two lines.

Why do u need to add chat to the website?

Just use a IRC chatroom with moderators on a established network?

Making a chatroom on a website is sort of inviting spam bots and also increases the bandwidth to the site.

If you want to you can iframe quakenet webchat to have it on the website.

Hm i can imagine a chatroom on the website getting a bit out of hand with randomers coming along etc getting annoying, it was just an idea to have somewhere for people to idle and have the occasional chat if they feel like runnin irc
