Which IPS monitor is better and why?

- Dell U2410

- Asus PA246Q ProArt

Both have fairly similar, if not the same specs, and are priced pretty much the same.

If any1 has owned or does own one of these monitors, could u leave some input as to how they perform, both for normal/office everyday use, and also how they perform in games (any noticable input lag/bad response time).

Cheers

It is basically the same screen but the antiglare coating is less aggressive on the Asus. Dell has a game mode though which gives it lower input lag. (15 vs 33 ms for Asus if I remember correctly). Unless you are really allergic to antiglarecoatings I would go with the Dell.

I have also read more complains about Asus qualitycontrol for that screen. Fairly many have reported dead pixels.

I dont have any of those but i have the HP ZR24w this is all so an IPS Panel and it is awsome no dead pix response time is good in fact it is better then my old monitor that was an lg 22" wide screen 2ms the hp is 5ms and i can not tell the diffrence i know this is not going to help you but there is more ips panels out there.
