well i found a guide that actually works so i thought i would share it
http://ipodlinux.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5281
this guide really works i have sucessfully installed ipodlinux on 2 nano's so far
it is very cool.
to any who dont know this is like a dual boot config, the original firmware/os from apple is still usable you just hold down the "<<" key while the nano is booting up to boot linux(do nothing to boot apple os)
cheers and hope this helps some nano owners
