ipodlinux on nano

well i found a guide that actually works so i thought i would share it

this guide really works i have sucessfully installed ipodlinux on 2 nano's so far

it is very cool.

to any who dont know this is like a dual boot config,the original firmware/os from apple is still usable you just hold down the "<<" key while the nano is booting up to boot linux(do nothing to boot apple os)

well video being the main reason ppl want it,apple didnt put it in so someone else has to find a way

the screen isnt that bad for watching stuff either,its nice and bright/clear.

it has more features as well like built in games/apps etc

much more features than apple give you....

how user friendly is podzilla? for example. how long would it take to give someone the simple pointers or write a quick manual on it?

Hmm having browsed the site a little, it appears podzilla cant even play mp3s in real time at the mo, which is a bit of a shocker. Still doom might be fun for a minute or three.. not really what you buy an ipod for tho is it?

Mind u if i had a nano i'd be doing this just for the hell of it - somehow i don't think it will ever work on my shuffle tho

a few minutes i guess,its just as simple as the apple firmware and a bit less graphical and its pretty easy to use...its only an mp3 player
