Does anyone know what kind of file a video has to be to put it on an iPod Video? I have tried avi. files and they do not seem to want to add to the iTunes library. Also just to make sure all you do is drag the file to the iTunes library correct? If anybody can tell me the file that the video needs to be can somebody else tell me a way to convert the avi. to the file needed to work on an iPod video?

The iTunes format. .m4a I think it is? Something like that. Just google "Ipod Video Converter."

The fifth generation iPod (which has a 320x240 pixel display) can also play MPEG-4 (H.264/MPEG-4 AVC), and QuickTime video formats, with restrictions on video dimensions, encoding techniques and data-rates.
