Check it out.

They've always been good to me have overclockers, so that could very well be a bargain.

"Overclockers UK has teamed up with China's number one motherboard manufacturer to bring you a new range of high quality, high performance motherboards. They have a long history of manufacturing boards for some of the biggest names in the industry and have always been a major player in the Asian market. Now they've turned their attention to Europe and OcUK are proud to bring you these exclusive products at unbelievable prices.

This Intel P35 motherboard comes with all the usual features you would expect from the top of the range boards. 1333Mhz FSB, eSATA, RAID, Crossfire support with support for all the current generation Intel and the forthcoming 45nm "Yorkfield" and "Wolfdale" processors. Its 100% solid capacitor construction ensures extreme performance, maximum stability and unbelievable overclocking potential."

thats cheap but its no abit...

i will admit though that overclocker have recently been ok, they were alright over the phone to me when i had problems ordering some stuff earlier this year... perhaps its a turn for the best..

lets hope

It may well be a very good motherboard but it's also worth considering backup.

Having looked at their site there is e.g. no available BIOS download listed for their IP35 Pro.

Obviously in the event of a problem your first port of call is the vendor i.e. OcUK but with an abit you also have abit UK to back the vendors up with support & they seem to have a pretty good reputation for that (luckily I've never needed it so far).

Might have been painted with paint containing too much lead or catch fire when you plug it in , who knows but it seems a decent enough price. Only reviews will tell.

I know its not a-bit its some chinese company or something but if its good who cares lol.

which is fine when it works -just pointing out that if it doesn't then your options are more limited.

e.g. what if after a few months OcUK stop dealing with them & there is no UK support, nowhere to RMA to etc.?

This the mfrs' spec. page

It uses ICH9 not ICH9R so no Intel RAID.

I was reffering 2 the raid stuff sry.

OCUK usually offer 1year warrenty on their things. Idk thought it doesnt say.

Whilst the abit IP35 Pro & the J&W IP35-Pro may have very similar names you can't really directly compare them as their feature sets are quite different.

A £72 abit IP35 gives you Intel RAID though plus firewire & a similarly priced Asus P5K will give you the 2nd physical x16 PCI-E slot plus firewire.

In terms of features for the price it's not really that much of a bargain.
