Internal AMD Overclocking Compo

Setting affinity to a single core should have the same effect no?

Stop picking on strawbs

But that's what he likes, so I heard xD

Dude can you shed any light on the CPU configuration options? Only I can't seem to find out what they do but having 7 options in the t series section must do something :/

Are you on about the V-settings? If so they are for the preset modes each one increases overclocking capability the higher the V number.

Not really had much to do on these forums but have been thoroughly enjoying the threads. Keep up the good work! Strabs, shame on you! haha.

Please remember guys this is a team effort, and you all have to help each other. Ive specifically sent kit to some weaker members to see if you lot will all pull together as a team.

Im literally using this as a tester to see if I will put any time into anything else.

So please remember lots of forum posts and pictures and lets get everyone rocking some nice high scores.

What OS are you guys benching with??? If it's not a stripped one, then you should strip it or get a pre stripped one, will shave some time off the runs. Also don't have anything else loaded or open while the bench runs.

only got prime95, folding and pcmark left to do so i am not going to worry about it to much atm

once i have a score for it all i am going to try and improve them

I was ricking 7 ultimate but ive been texting marsey and he reckons tiny xp will work better so im installing that as i type

Strawbs.

why have you got a 975 BE.

Apart from that, I've tried running PCMark04 a few ways now.

There's a tweak around call "affinity by time". Don't work for me.

The only way that works for me is using my Win 7 and running it in XP compatability mode.

Anybody else got anywhere with it.

Cos I only had 4 chips from AMD and what I thought was a 970 that I already had but it turned out to be a 975. Remember Strawbs kit is MY set of hardware.

Strawbs is just doing it for me which is why Ive been narky he hasnt done enough.

I have never been able to run PCMark04. Tried it on all my chips and it always fails the grammar test. Despite doing all the tweeks possible.

Also, it seems that people also have a lot of trouble running it on chips past 4GHz.

Grammar test in 04 and encoding test in 05 stop me getting a score with XP so I will be having a go with 7 later to see if they play ball and to see how it compares with my other scores.
