I have been feeling a little under the weather all day (too much celebrating at the street party yesterday). I am honoured to have been selected and looking forward to see what I can get out of it. Tom. I don't usually use PCMark04 Due to the errors I keep getting.

This is what futuremark have to say about the issue.

"Q: Why does PCMark04's "Grammar Test" fail on some new CPU's when running at high frequencies?

A: The "Grammar Test" in PCMark04 is not a suitable test for the latest high-end CPU's. The test fails on some processors that began shipping after PCMark04 was released. Futuremark strongly suggests using PCMark05 instead when evaluating and benchmarking the PC system performance. PCMark04 is no longer technically supported by Futuremark."

Don't want to be a party pooper but have you tried pcmark04 on these chips.

that is a annoying

when i was trying to get some base scores i kept getting an error, asking me to install windows media player 9 or above even though it is,

the test will still run, even with that error.

It's if you get the grammer test result. mine keeps failing this test and I get no score at the end.

Run with one core switched on. Worked for me with an X2 555.

I'm running it in Win7. That's what's wrong.

It runs in xp compatability mode.

Looks like an XP install for this one.
