Intel's commissioned i9-9900K gaming benchmarks are reportedly misleading

Some of that interview was a little bit of a shock jock ambush. He was asking the technical questions to a company mouthpiece. He may have been the owner, but just taking off the cuff questions, he would never have the answer too. It would not be fair to expect them to. I'm glad GN talked to them, and pointed out some errors. I would really like to see a followup in a couple of weeks.

I will assume since Intel claimed to have similar results in their lab, I would almost guess they sent out script with the CPU for the test person to follow, including settings. They did what they were paid to do. Nvidia has done something similar many times. I does not shock me.

GN have released updates since then which they posted on their website. It answers some of the questions the man couldn't answer at the time of the interview.

To be fair I don't think it matters if new results are posted now, the damage has been done....Intel should get fined for this no ifs no buts

Fined for what? a biased test?

There is nothing illegal there. And this is what I am most unhappy about, in many areas, this type of fraud always escapes punishment.

Since its a paid report, Intel can easily pass off the blame elsewhere. It would be PT that suffers reputable damage not Intel.
