Sorry about the influx of threads and constant questions, but I would rather get to know as much as I can before I lay out my hard earned cash on a new system.
My latest annoyance is now between building a Intel or AMD based system since I've been convinced that they have gotten a lot better since my first and so far last AMD. Now I've just got to shake my AMD bug and maybe bite the AMD bullet...or just stay on the Intel road.
Now so far the Details I have on the systems are -
Intel Based
Intel E8400 3.0Ghz CPU - $239
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P - $189
Corsair 2 x 2GB 800Mhz -$73
Total - $501
AMD Based
AMD PhenomII 720 TripleCore 2.8Ghz CPU -$192
Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD4 -$173
Corsair 2 x 2GB 800Mhz -$73
Total - $438
Now so far the AMD has only got the price in my mind coming in at $63 cheaper, But...what will be the better system?
Everything else in the system will stay the same for now, with a 600W PSU powering everything and a EN9800GT making sure everything is pretty.
Any help on this new set of questions will be great.
