Intel Optane memory DIMMs and compatible CPUs will launch in 2018

Intel's new Optane DIMM technology is set to hit the market in 2018 alongside compatible Xeon CPUs, allowing large banks of Optane storage to be used as an affordable non-volatile replacement for DRAM.
