Does anyone have any experience with this mobo. Intel Desktop Motherboard LGA1155 DDR3 1600 ATX - BOXDZ77GA-70K. Just wondering if it makes sense to have a cpu/mobo by the same manufacturer. This comes in at around $219.00

Intel motherboards tend to be overpriced and not that great.
You'd be better with an MSI Z77a-G45 instead.

I actually found this to be a really nice board. (Customers pc build).
The BIOS was really nice to use. Overclocking went well. The PLX switch chip on these boards is a nice feature as well. Wish it was more widely used.
Comes with a skull mousepad as well.
Intel have really good customer support as well. RMA support etc.
If you have the spare change I say go for it. There are other boards around the same price though. Up to you.

Im sure it's a decent enough board, but for that price you can get a lot better, like the G45 as James said

Thanks for the replies, guys. In checking other reviews, seems to be a somewhat mixed response. Some folks really like them, others seem to have a lot of problems with them. Most say the cust. service is good though.
I am really not happy with this Asus. Funny, I have heard all kinds of kudos about Asus,but from my experience, way way too much trouble. This is my third Asus board of the same type. I have had the tech. support person tell me he doesn't even use their software cause it's too buggy.

Yea, I ain't gonna fool with it. Most folks here seem to have success with MSI so I'm comfortable with that.
