Intel i7 930 S1366 2.8GHz NOW IN SHOPS!

Hey folks,

Although I haven't seen anything official anywhere on the web, Scan.co.uk claim to have the new 930's in stock already as they are "Intel's Premier Partner".

Weirdly though, the price is ~£15 more than the 920 despite reassurances from Intel it would be released as a 920 replacement with a pricetag to match.

Then again, with a 21x multiplier, stock clock of 2.81GHz and overclocking potential of 4GHz with only 0.25V increase over stock using the included intel cooler, I don't think that will put me off when the time comes for me to assemble my new system.

Really depends on the parts and the company. If it does stay it goes in the parts cupboard for testing parts later.

It is great, but its also hard work too matey.

yeah hard work but enjoyable i bet not many ppl can say they do a job they love and then u add that with all the modifying and building stuff 2, id deffo love to get into a job like urs testing hardware and that but when it comes to writing up the reviews im totally useless at that

i just like to build them when i have the pennies ive nearly finished my new rig just gotta get a better cooler and a gpu and it will be workin away as a dedicated folder going to have to use an eha4350 on it till the GPU gets here i noticed u sold an 9800gtx+ yesterday if only i had cash and got there b4 charlie lol

lol well ya got ur wish it wasnt long in going at all, yeah suppose they would after a while but with an SSD raid they should fly through the install of 7 i find it real fast on my raid'd raptors i can only imagine how speedy ssd's in raid can be
