Intel hold back most of the Nehalem's until 2009?

mehhhhh, i was waiting for these.. reckon its all marketing strategy? or minor problems?

I think it's 2 factors:

1: They don't need to release a new architecture (AMD...where are you?)

2: They want to make som money off of the top end part before the better value mid-range CPU's get out

For me its definitely worth it to buy one starting off but I don't think it is worth it to upgrade from a Q6600 to one of these new quads. There are improvements but nothing really substantial... who really needs another few hundred mhz.

*slaps self*

They do rock though :p
