B BLUESTAKE New member Jan 9, 2009 #4 yes sorry the multiplier keeps going from x6 to x9. idle at 6 (1.87GHz) under load at 9 (2.85GHz)
Z zak4994 New member Jan 9, 2009 #5 Disable SpeedStep as monkey7 said. In the BIOS somewhere close to C1E and EIST. Oh and the multiplier oscillating isn't a problem as it's just trying to keep the elec. usage and temp down.
