Wow. I will have to buy myself a Dual core. What will the price be for them and will they need a new motherboard?

I'm not too sure of the price, but i believe they will work on the 925 chipset...or so i've heard.

I have heard dual core AMDs will work with all socket 939s but the new dual core intels will indeed be making a pin change and require new mobos, sucks doesn't it? impossible to keep up with the technology for the ordinary man, money money money.

dual core intel will not have a pin change, but will require a new chipset

Intel is going to slash their Multicore Desktop CPU prices by 40% on 2007 Q2.

The E6600 will be a much better deal I think.
