Just been considering my options as I now will need more space for a ssd. I currently have a Corsair Force Series GT (120 GB ). Other then the OS I like to install all my games on the ssd aswell for quicker loading times.. ect. Windows updates might also be starting to take some space aswell.
I have thought of combining another say 256gig hard drive and to start looking into RAID but I think I'm better of just keeping it simple and buying a decent sized ssd that seems like it has a great reputation.
How does the Intel 520 series compare to anything else on the market? is there the same technology in all of them more or less? How would I find the difference to my current Corsair Force Series GT to the Intel 520 Series. From looking at specs they seem pretty similar.
Intel - read/write speed 550/520MB/s
Corsair - read/write speed 555/515MB/s
I was looking through the specs and my current SSD has 2.5inch form factor where as the Intel 520 series has the adapter to go to 2.5 to 3.5. Whats that all about?
Noticing the warranty on Intel 520 series is also 5 years is a pretty good sigh of a good product.
Thoughts/ opinions please.
