SSD speeds? I am confusion!!

Hey All,

I am a little confused with SSD speeds... I am looking at 2 SSD's, both have read speeds of around 550MB/s and write speed of 520MB/s but under the data transfer rate one has 6 Gbps and the other has 750 Mbps?

What is the difference between these speeds?

If I had to guess I'd say the data transfer rate is how fast the drive can move files between folders one it has already been wrotten to the drive.. and that as a gamer the read and write speed are more important?

IOPS Input/Output Operations Per Second are actually more important, all sata ssd's will hit a wall at around 500mb/s because of the sata interface.
If you are looking for faster speeds you need to get m.2 nvme ssds.

If you want good SSD Crucial MX500 or Samsung 860 Evo at any size you need. They are so good that the rest of the models are not worth buying.
