intel 330 vs 520

I was just wondering if anyone knew what the difference between the intel 520 and 330 was. I know the 520 is a bit faster but is that it or is there anything fundamentally different underneath?

They have the same transfer speeds but less random IOPS (input/output operations per second), which basically means they do less tasks per second, the drives will still be very fast, I'll be getting a 120gb 330 at the end of the month.

Thanks for the reply, Ive seen the numbers and read about the drives what I was asking was more about the difference in hardware that is causing them to be slower. Like you say even if they are slower than the 520 they will still be fast but I just wonder if they are full of lower quality parts or something.

any news on the 330? Its close to midnight, the release date may have turned out to be pure speculation indeed.

It seems that Intel 330 has 3 years warranty as compare to 520 has 5 years warranty.

Not sure about the real world difference in term of performance.
