As I found of this forum, following condensation pb with my P4C800E, I'm planning to insulate my mobo with DC4 grease and conformant coating.
I know that the seal string should not be in contact with the DC4 grease, but I want to still have an insulation for the components that will be close to or under this seal string and so that won't be protected with DC4.
So I was thinking of using DC4 grease on the socket and around, and to use conformant coating on the zone close and under the seal string area. But would it be OK for the seal string to be in contact with this plastic coating? Will it still be air tight?
Thanks.
