In game issues

I opened up crysis 3 and when the game got loaded, there was a band on the left side of the monitor that was not part of the display. just color flickering.The left 10% looks like it is gone.
This only happens in games. not while on the web.
I have a BenQ GL2760H.
Evga 980 sc.
I have already reinstalled the drivers. Removed the old ones w/ DDU.

Do you have any software monitoring overlay enabled? Like fraps, afterburner, rivatuner? If so try disabling it to see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks for the suggestion but this goes all the way from top of the display to the bottom. I do use Precision x. but removing it does not help

YEA, I DID. trying another display now. just with that one. gonna try to reset to default settings.
