It's funny because that strat guide is pretty much just the basic common sense tactics u need to display to win.... and there really isn't much more to it than what's outlined.

You have to be street smart to be a good CS player... Don't go running around corners at full speed like a dumbass, or try and kill someone 100 yards away in a dead sprint. Being stupid gets you killed!

I think the best thing they outlined that too many players do is try and take cover when they are under fire when there's no place to take cover nearby, so they end up getting pwned w/o even fighting back, I see it all the time. If u can't find a nearby place to hide, put up a good fight and gib em hail!!! If youre a good shot, one or two well placed rounds to the head and u just saved ur own ass.

common sense yes but some of the members of the clan im on wouldnt know common sense if it ran ova and had furious money sex with em

Yeah suckers...just wish I was good enough to step out and take like one HS...boom. There are a lot of players that are so good you come into the open and splat you're dead which is pretty frustrating!

Also joining a game in the middle means you get a pistol and they aren't the most accurate (still love the .50 tho!)

Im dangerous with the deagle and the awp in 1.6. Still learning the ropes in css for the sniper rifles.

i read an article a whhile back and the best advice i read was....

always aim for the head even if you are miles away. you are more likely to score a lucky head shot than to kill someone with repeated rounds to the chest.

Its the only way to play jim. U will instantly notice an increase in kills if u always remember to shoot for the head. And as dave said, finish off ur opponent with ur sidearm instead of running away like a lil bitch 2 reload ur rifle.
